Robin studied interior design and psychology at the University of Wisconsin but left college to become a flight attendant for a major airline.
She began her design business in 2002 and went back to school to finish her interior design degree.
She knows many consumers have no idea that there are designers with college degrees, but she gives the added value of being an interior designer with college credentials versus a decorator who has none.
The advantage of hiring a designer with an education in interior design is that Robin wears two hats . She can "decorate" a room with colors, fabrics, and furnishings. When Robin "designs" a room, she takes it further with the technical skills of constructing a room she has learned through education and experience.
