How we work with our clients varies from project to project.
We base our design fees on the size of the projects. We charge hourly fees or flat fees based on each project.
If you only require consultations with no purchasing our fee is strictly by the hour.
If you retain us to design a room with purchasing involved, our hourly fee drops to a lower rate, but you will also be required to make all purchases through our company. We will be compensated by making the purchase and receiving a commission from the manufacturer. We will discount our purchases we receive directly from our trade sources, but not through retail stores. If we decide purchases will come from retail stores, our design fee will be the cost of the object plus a mark up on the price.
As a full service design company, we work with many professional tradespeople we have had a relationship with for many years. They represent Rooms Revamped and they have been chosen to work with us because of their professionalism. We will gladly work with our clients architects, contractors, and tradespeople.
All our clients are required to sign a letter of agreement and pay a retainer before any designing will begin.
